The musical was a very fun experience! I met so many people who shared my passion for acting and really enjoyed spending time with both the director and them. I’d gladly continue to perform and work with the musical cast!
Valerie Tang (10D2)
My favorite part of the musical was the dance and the process behind the scenes. Dance is one of my strengths and I always enjoyed the process of learning and performing dance.
Hayley Tsang (8X1)
I’ve always wanted to be in an acting experience, and Eliza the Musical was the best one for me. I met many new friends and bonded with people over this play, so if I had the chance to do this again I’d say yes in a heartbeat!

Eliza The Musical

How It Started
The idea of Eliza The Musical first came to life during the summer of July 2023. After Mr Jackson participated in a Musical Theatre Summer workshop hosted by the British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT), he gained a better insight into what the process of workshopping a musical is like. Not only that, he formed lifelong friendships and connections. After attending the BYMT summer workshop, he felt inspired to take his love of performing arts to the next level. During that summer, that is when the first draft of Eliza was written.
